Job summary

SITEC Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support government transformation and cloud modernization efforts. The role acts as a central coordination point among customer organizations, security teams, and engineering staff to ensure system security, certifications, and compliant cloud migrations.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly with senior stakeholders, collaborates across cybersecurity, architecture, and program management, and helps plan and document security requirements,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated systems engineering experience in government or DoD environments.
• Experience performing ISSO or cybersecurity coordination responsibilities.
• Experience developing or supporting System Security Plans and authorization packages.
• Familiarity with system reauthorization and security assessment processes.
• Experience coordinating across cybersecurity, engineering, architecture, and program-management teams.
• Understanding of cloud migration, cloud security, and modernization concepts.
• Knowledge of Security Test and Evaluation processes or similar testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communications focal point between designated customer organizations and technical teams.
• Coordinate technical, security, and programmatic information among government stakeholders and engineers.
• Serve as the security coordinator for assigned systems and modernization efforts.
• Support Security Test and Evaluation activities for products.
• Coordinate and support System Security Plan development, maintenance, and reauthorization.
• Track security requirements, risks, findings, and remediation activities.
• Coordinate with system owners, cybersecurity personnel, architects, and leadership.
• Prepare technical briefings and leadership presentations.
