Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to lead security accreditation efforts for our hybrid-cloud infrastructure. You will decompose customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, manage project estimation and scheduling, and craft critical documentation such as System Security Plans and SOPs.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with forensic tools and enterprise storage in multi-petabyte environments.

Qualifications

Experience leading systems through security accreditation processes.
Ability to decompose customer requirements into technical solutions and cost estimates.
Proven capability to draft System Security Plans and SOPs for complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

Decompose customer requirements into technical solutions, considering architecture, performance and life cycle costs.
Lead IT project management and coordination for secure hybrid-cloud systems.
Create and maintain essential documentation, including SOPs and System Security Plans.
Provide tiered support and guidance across engineering teams throughout accreditation.
