Job summary

Nammo Perry, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead cross-functional teams and drive rocket motor development from design through testing. The role requires collaboration with DoW and prime customers, development of SOWs and technical approaches, and ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and AS9100 standards.

The position is based in Tallahassee, FL with travel to Perry, FL as needed; a DoD clearance is required. Candidates should have 0–2 years of relevant experience and a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams (Thermal/Structural/Ballistic Analysis, Systems, Test) to drive project execution and act as design lead on new rocket motor projects.
• Develop SOWs, technical approaches, and specifications; coordinate tooling, safety, and analysis efforts.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with the DoW and prime customers, delivering status reports and briefings.
• Identify program risks, manage ECPs, and perform DFM/DFA studies in collaboration with Manufacturing.
• Coordinate system integration and testing to meet MIL-STD, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance activities.
