Job summary
Capital Solutions Group seeks a Storage System Administrator to support the Corporate Storage Team in a full-time capacity at Ft. Meade, MD.
The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and involves managing backups across NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik, plus SAN troubleshooting and ISSO coordination. You will work with cross-disciplined teams to add servers/VMs to backup domains, configure new backup solutions, and address break-fix scenarios on storage arrays, reporting to leadership on
Qualifications
- Experience with backup management and storage area networks.
- Ability to coordinate with ISSO for SSP reauthorization and patching.
- Capable of configuring new backup solutions and coordinating break-fix activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik.
- Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and troubleshoot issues.
- Configure a new backup solution when purchased.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate break fixes for backup appliances and storage arrays.
- Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
- Coordinate with ISSO for vulnerability patching and SSP reauthorization.
