Job summary

EOA Technologies is seeking an SQL Database Administrator to support a U.S. Government subcontract on a full-time basis in Maryland.

You will manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability, working with developers and system administrators.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph, IAT Level 2, and 10 years of relevant experience; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; 5 years substitute allowed
• IAT Level 2 Certification required

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexes, and server configurations.
• Schedule and test regular backups and restore procedures for data recoverability.
• Manage user access and enforce security policies to protect data.
• Collaborate with developers and sysadmins to design and implement databases and manage schema changes.
• Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and processes.
