Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Database Engineer/Administrator to support federal contracts in Maryland with TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include daily DB admin, tuning, replication management, and security enforcement across Oracle and other RDBMS.

Requires high school diploma and significant Oracle/PL-SQL experience; multiple levels welcome. The role emphasizes patching, scripting, and performance optimization in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph are required.
• Minimum of high school diploma; multiple experience levels allowed with years of database-related work.
• Experience with Oracle Database administration and replication technologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
• Experience tuning and monitoring database performance.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL for ad hoc and routine requests.
• Daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Develop and execute database scripts for recurring issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and enhance SQL queries and database scripts.
• Manage Oracle Streams replication and related technologies.
• Apply IAVA patches and system updates to databases.
• Improve design and implementation to optimize GOTS/COTS databases.
