Job summary

The role centers on delivering fast, reliable, and secure software deployments across high-performance computing environments, and orchestrating complex configuration changes and updates across production systems.

The engineer will serve as the Tier 3 escalation lead, collaborating with Operations & Maintenance to diagnose infrastructure issues, perform root cause

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and tools; strong scripting abilities.
• Experience automating infrastructure with Ansible and IaC concepts.
• Proficiency in Python for developing custom modules.
• Hands-on with containerization: Docker, containerd, Podman; Kubernetes deployment.
• Experience creating Helm charts to deploy services in Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps/GitOps practices and release pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies, tagging, and workflows.
• Ability to produce high-quality installation guides, run books, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, reliable, and secure software deployments across HPC environments.
• Orchestrate configuration changes and software updates across production systems.
• Ensure delivery lifecycle meets security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation lead, diagnosing infrastructure issues with Ops & Maintenance.
• Develop automated remediation strategies to improve stability and prevent recurrence.
