Applied Network Solutions, Inc. seeks a senior software engineer with TS/SCI clearance to design, develop, test and secure custom networking and cybersecurity solutions. You will work across the full software lifecycle, applying strong Linux administration and DevOps practices.

The role emphasizes large-scale projects using Python, Rust, Java, C, and C++, with expertise in containers (Kubernetes/Docker) and IaC (Ansible). Expect a demanding but rewarding environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with extensive experience
• 11+ years of relevant experience for CS degree path or 9+ with Master’s
• Experience in endpoint and malware exploitation activities
• Strong dev skills with large software projects in Python, Rust, Java, C, C++
• Ability to work solo on all facets of software projects
• Strong Linux system administration
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible)
• Innovative, rapid development, deployment, monitoring and deconfliction
• Ability to blend/obfuscate deployed tool communications to avoid detection

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate and maintain custom ANS solutions
• Work on end-to-end software projects from concept to deployment
• Collaborate across teams to solve complex security and networking problems
• Utilize reverse engineering outputs for re-engineering purposes
• Deliver robust, scalable software in high-security environments
