Job summary
Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) in San Diego seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to support voyage management and shipboard IT systems.
You will perform pre-testing, installation, SOVT, and INCO on VMS and SPCS, ensure software operates correctly, and assist with system upgrades and testing. The role requires Navy electronics or information systems technical background, DoD Secret clearance, and experience leading electronics tasks, troubleshooting, and documenting findings.
Qualifications
- Prior Navy service as Electronics Technicians or Information Systems Technicians with rank of E6 or above preferred.
- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance required for this position.
- Naval experience in operation/maintenance/troubleshooting/testing of shipboard electronics or IT systems, IBS/IBNS/VMS/SPCS.
Responsibilities
- Witness, support, and conduct pre-testing, installation, SOVT, and INCO on VMS and SPCS.
- Ensure application software is operating correctly.
- Inspect and verify equipment installation and conduct testing of system upgrades/revisions.
