Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician for an onsite 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) in Andover, MA. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical, CNC, and hydraulic equipment, perform PMs, and uphold safety and reliability in production.

Required are 5+ years of maintenance experience, a 4-year apprenticeship, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance with U.S. citizenship. This on-site role includes comprehensive benefits and union representation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• 4 years of apprenticeship in maintenance trade or equivalent.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Works from prints and instructions to diagnose equipment and repair machinery onsite.
• Maintain and repair forklifts, cranes, belts, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate jigs and tools as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Move heavy machine parts and disassemble/reassemble complex mechanisms.
• Perform lubrication and routine housekeeping; keep records and follow safety rules.
