Job summary

Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, seeks a senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures for enterprise customers. You will lead Cisco ACI deployments across multi data center environments and work with cross-functional teams to ensure security, performance, and compliance.

The role requires deep technical expertise in routing, switching, and network security controls, with hands-on capability to troubleshoot and optimize enterprise networks, WAN/LAN,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum ten years of experience in architecting and designing IP networks.
• Expert in SDN engagements built around Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Cisco ACI design across multi data center configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with VXLAN/EVPN and network security controls.
• Experience with site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Network programmability with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Network design, deployment, and security-focused disaggregation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of network equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues.
• Design network architectures based on customer requirements and best practices.
• Develop configurations for Cisco ACI across multi data center configurations.
• Collaborate with other IT disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Create architectural design solutions and present to client stakeholders.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to identify new products and solutions.
• Maintain documentation for all network infrastructure and configurations.
• Support 24x7 on-call rotations.
