Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Project Manager to join our team at the Ft. Meade, MD area, delivering premier IT services for a mission-focused program. The PM will lead customers in consolidating and relocating systems to Agency Data Centers, coordinating with Deployments, Engineering, Networks, and other teams.

The role requires 9+ years in project management with federal government, PMP certification, and experience with SNOW/JIRA and MS Office tools. TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 years of additional program management experience with the Federal Government may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• 9+ years of demonstrated experience in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting for projects.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading customer meetings.
• Experience with ServiceNOW and/or JIRA or similar ticketing/tracking databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Attend and run meetings with customers and service teams to discuss Install, Move, Removal of equipment within Government Data Centers.
• Maintain tracking Spreadsheets and generate Workbooks (Excel) to report on all systems moving out, including Schedule/Timeline and Networks Connectivity.
• Service Now (SNOW) Ticketing System - track tickets/efforts to progress from conception to closure.
• Submit SNOW and PSC Tickets as needed for Customers.
• Utilize Access database to manage and store all equipment within the organization.
• Acquire Preliminary Engineering Documentation from Customers/System Owners for Engineering Review.
• Report to the Customer Management Bi-Weekly on Room Closure progress / delays.
