Astrion seeks an Integration and Test Engineer to join the AFRL RAPID Laboratory at Kirtland AFB, NM. This mid-to-senior role leads IT integration and test campaigns for complex systems in a defense context.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant technical engineering experience.
• Background in IT infrastructure, software development, or network engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead reporting to the RAPID Chief Engineer and Program Manager.
• Lead and participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and other program offices to align objectives.
• Develop and manage unit, subsystem, and system level verification requirements.
• Develop and manage end-to-end test objectives.
• Manage integration and test schedule and execution for multiple vendors.
• Communicate risk posture and technical status to program and customer leadership.
