Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Utility Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including restrooms, workspaces, and common areas. You will perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, polishing, trash removal, and supply restocking while following safety guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and stripping floors; operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and other tools as needed.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas; restock supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Empty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas; maintain cleanliness of entrances, exits, and surrounding areas.
