Job summary

RTX Corporation’s LADS Engineering group seeks an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations across multiple sites including McKinney, TX. The role emphasizes capital planning, staffing forecasts, and governance alignment to enable strong execution in a fast-paced defense environment.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree, 8+ years of technical leadership, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects.
Experience leading a team.
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Support the LADS Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
Support Capital planning and execution activities.
Support staffing and demand forecasting.
Facilitate CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
Drive process improvements into organization operations.
Collaborate across LADS Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
Travel as required to meet organizational objectives.
