Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking Electronic Technicians for 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). Position requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. Onsite role with responsibilities ranging from electrical testing and troubleshooting to reading prints and preparing test reports.

Experience reading schematics, following test procedures, and basic math for power calculations is needed. Training and benefits are provided, with strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Complete pre-qualification test or exam; may be updated periodically.
• AA/AS or higher in Electrical/Electronics fields per company requirements.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field per company requirements.
• Military electronics certification per company requirements.
• 4 years documented experience troubleshooting electronic equipment in last 12 years.
• 4 years as an Electronic Tester (Job Code: EH0367).

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies and systems to specifications.
• Read and follow prints, schematics, and test procedures accurately.
• Operate environmental test chambers and develop data to resolve performance problems.
• May perform soldering and mechanical assembly as needed.
• Prepare test reports and document deviations and corrective actions.
• Move materials as directed and record discrepancies on subassemblies.
• Collect data and maintain records; handle hazardous materials per regulations.
