Knight Federal Solutions is seeking a Database Analyst to conceptualize and develop databases for military models and simulations used in joint exercises. The role sits on the Joint Staff J7 team, focusing on order of battle databases and related simulations.

The candidate will design, test, and maintain databases, translate real and fictional force structures into data, and ensure data integrity across exercise datasets in a demanding defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics or related field preferred.
• Joint staff experience and knowledge on military systems, TTP, and JOPES desirable.
• Knowledge and use of SQL Developer with relational databases; Oracle PL/SQL on Linux preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, planning, development, implementation, maintenance of databases.
• Compile, synchronize, test, and improve military models to enhance performance and functionality; support certification.
• Identify, develop, and maintain parametric data for simulation databases; reconcile entity class lists for federation partners; verify integrity of EDS.
