Job summary

VTG is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team in Herndon, VA. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources and develop statistical models, predictive analytics, and ML algorithms.

You will translate data-driven findings into business insights, collaborate with engineering, product, and stakeholders, and create dashboards and visuals to communicate results. A strong background in analytics and Palantir Foundry/Gotham is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• BS in a quantitative field (mathematics, data science, statistics)
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience directly relevant to analytics, quantitative analysis, data science, AI or ML
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL/SQL, Python, R, and GitLab
• Demonstrated experience with producing analytic insights from large scale data
• Experience with quantitative analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
• Experience conveying complex data science insights to non-technical audiences
• Specific experience with Palantir Foundry/Gotham suite of tools

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
