Job summary

Jobtailor in McLean, VA, is seeking a Senior DevOps/Systems Engineer to lead modernization of IT infrastructures and cloud solutions.

You will manage server configurations, provision VMs and networks, collaborate with cloud architects, and drive automation using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet while aligning with Agile practices. This role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps or System Administration teams.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration.
• 2+ years of experience as a team lead of cloud or on-prem infrastructure DevOps teams.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• 2+ years of experience using task management software, such as Jira.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Services, such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS.
• 2+ years of experience with capturing infrastructure and configuration as code, such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• 2+ years of experience with VMWare or Citrix.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of degree.
