Unified Business Technologies Inc. seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting Army enterprise systems and mission operations.

Responsibilities include IaC-driven automation, migrations from on-prem, and disaster recovery planning. The role requires experience with AWS/Azure, Linux/Windows, and security compliance aligned with RMF and government standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering, cloud administration, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Experience deploying and supporting AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Experience with virtual machines, cloud networking, storage, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with migration, backup, and disaster recovery workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and service interruptions.
• Understanding of federal cybersecurity and RMF/government requirements.

Responsabilités

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Army environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate deployments.
• Support orchestration, automated provisioning, configuration management, and optimization.
• Migrate existing applications, databases, and workloads from on-premises to cloud.
• Assess dependencies and prepare migration plans.
• Perform data transfers, post-migration testing, and validation.
• Administer cloud-hosted virtual servers, updates, patches, and configs.
• Monitor resource usage, performance, and security advisories.
• Investigate bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support high availability and continuity of operations.
• Collaborate with architects, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders.
