Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled professional with TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance for a full-time role supporting Secure the Enterprise initiatives.

You will help automate security evaluation and authorization processes across the project lifecycle. The position blends software, systems, and operations support, requiring Linux administration, AWS operations, and robust data monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 6 years of applicable professional experience.
• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Blend across all teams in ANDS with cross-domain skills.
• Ensure data reliability and accuracy by monitoring and maintaining application systems.
• Contribute to operational success through continuous performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.
• Maintain system health by tracking metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status.
• Support watchfloor operations by identifying service degradation, failed dataflows, system errors, and escalating as needed.
• Perform basic Linux system administration tasks, including checking service status and reboots.
• Support cloud-based operations by using AWS Console/CLI to check instance health and troubleshoot.
• Work in a rotating shift schedule, 6AM-6PM / 6PM-6AM, to provide 24/7 application support on our watch floor.
