Job summary

Unifi Security in Atlanta is seeking a Security Access Control Coordinator to oversee provisioning and entry authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at client facilities.

You will conduct screenings, inspect identifications, manage reports, respond to alarms, and coordinate communications via radios, while adhering to safety standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provisioning and access control for employees, visitors, contractors and vendors.
• Inspect identifications, vehicle decals, and screen individuals before entry.
• Conduct random security inspections and body scans as required.
• patrol premises, document concerns, and report incidents to management.
• Prepare clear reports on security activities and emergencies.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate radio and security communications.
• Follow safety standards and Unifi policies in daily work.

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors-accessing client facilities. Ensures proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties:

• Access Control & Screening, which includes Inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, and screen visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
• Conduct random security inspections to employee body scans, bag checks, and ETD (Explosive Trace Detection) screenings.
• Patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Report security incidents and document criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies.
• Response to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
• Management and communication via radios and other security-related equipment.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
