Security Supervisor Patrol

Location: Dallas, TX 75224

Pay: $18.50 per hour. Must be scheduled for 3rd shift (8pm-6am) and weekends.

Predominately driving position: Mobile Patrol Driver. Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Clear driving record last 3-5 years
• Valid Texas guard card license
• Open availability Monday–Sunday
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass an FBI background check
• Supervisor security experience

Position Summary

A Signal Branch Patrol Supervisor provides functional leadership to Signal’s Community Based Security Officers through the development and implementation of policies and practices essential to the effective management of day-to-day operations. Basic duties include protecting all sites and managing all reporting officers. All duties listed below are minimum requirements; additional site-specific duties may be required.

• Strategic Planning: Effective engagement, communication, planning & execution of daily patrol responsibilities while meeting established deadlines. Adopt and communicate changes in regulations and company policy, and train team members to efficiently complete their job responsibilities.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding company measurements while executing the necessary behaviors to drive performance. Identify and communicate potential hiring needs to the Ops Coordinator and participate in interviews and onboarding.
• Team Development: Communicate with clients, team members and management effectively and in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback and executing follow‑up as needed. Create an environment of openness, trust and respect while coaching and developing Advanced and Patrol Officer performance.
• Project Management: Complete understanding and execution of daily tasks and efficiently deliver services that meet business needs. Review activity and incident reports of Advanced and Patrol Officers.

Responsibilities

• Coach, monitor, and develop accountability for the individual performance of Advanced Patrol Officers and Patrol Officers to align with company standards (patrol completion, report writing, etc.).
• Lead the Branch Manager Daily Scrum to communicate all service, property, post order, and routing changes.
• Schedule and conduct spot checks with officers under supervision, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as needed.
• Promptly and consistently report any client-specific information or issues to the Coordinator, and help execute and provide resolutions to client concerns.
• Participate in the hiring process: interview candidates, set up orientation dates and times, and communicate regularly with the Coordinator.
• Maintain equipment inventory and maintenance, including uniforms, vehicles, devices, phones, etc., and communicate needs and issues to the Coordinator.
• Participate in performance reviews with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
• Ensure schedule is complete to fulfill contracted services and cover shifts as necessary while minimizing overtime.
• Recommend and issue disciplinary action for personnel violating the Signal Standard Operating Procedures; provide positive recognition for personnel going above and beyond expectations.
• Communicate with the Coordinator during Weekly Coordinator Meetings to review weekly score cards, route reviews, operation priorities, and all client-related issues.
