Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated assurance expert to join our Security Assurance team in Seattle.

The role focuses on managing targeted campaigns to solve complex compliance challenges, improving processes, and driving efficiencies across the security assurance organization. You will own engagement delivery across multiple domains, negotiate with auditors, and coordinate evidence delivery while aligning with regulatory expectations globally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies.
• Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience with end-to-end project management.
• 4+ years of IT Security experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary owner of assurance engagement delivery across third-party certifications (SOC, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, C5, IRAP), customer assurance programs, and regulatory examinations.
• Drive and support engagement activities including auditor negotiation, evidence delivery, and stakeholder coordination with project management.
• Communicate with team leads on status and key deliverables of team initiatives; seek diverse opinions and coordinate improvement efforts.
• Field and address requests for team support in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Dive deep into AWS compliance program operations to develop domain and technical understanding of regulatory and customer expectations to drive process improvements.
• Independently assess and satisfy compliance requirements.
• Develop reusable artifacts, propose automation opportunities, and contribute to organizational scalability.
