Job summary

Troon in Punta Gorda, FL, is hiring Security Staff to safeguard guests, members, and employees at Tuckers Cove Town Center. Roles include patrolling, incident response, and enforcing facility rules in a hospitality-oriented setting.

Positions available as part-time or full-time with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. Requires a HS diploma or GED (or 6 months–1 year related experience); CPR/First Aid training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.
• CPR and First Aid Training as part of certification expectations.

Responsibilities

• Observes persons entering, exiting, or loitering in or around facilities and responds to security related complaints.
• Conducts routine walk-arounds of the property at scheduled and random times.
• Ensures doors are locked and the property is secure.
• Responds to accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities; documents details and advises management.
• Provides security coverage for special events programs.
• Enforces all facility rules and regulations.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards.
• Performs light maintenance duties such as changing locks and light bulbs.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
