Security Assistance Specialist (Anticipated)

Qualifications

Experience in any of the following:

• Security Cooperation
• Foreign Military Sales
• International Military Education and Training
• Peacekeeping Operations
• Training and Technical Assistance
• Ammunition Processes

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Military experience
• Experience in the Intelligence Community
• Previous work with U.S. Government agencies such as DSCA, CCMDs, Joint Staff, SCOs, MILDEPs
• Experience providing ammunition assistance domestically or abroad
• Deep knowledge of ammunition storage, maintenance, and arsenal support
• Research and analysis of legislation and federal regulations related to security cooperation
• Completion of relevant security cooperation courses or certifications
• Knowledge of DoD capacity building, assessment, and evaluation processes

Education and Certification

• Bachelor's degree minimum; master's preferred in security studies, political science, foreign affairs, or related fields
• Project Management or PMP certification preferred

Languages

• DLPT 3/3 or above in Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, or Ukrainian preferred

Security Clearance

• Active SECRET clearance required minimum
