Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Asset Protection Solution Officer to safeguard a distribution center and personnel. You will monitor traffic, identify risk, and respond to incidents using proprietary systems and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, asset protection, and reporting within a climate-controlled facility.

The position runs 3–11 PM local time, Saturdays through Wednesdays, with overtime possible. You will prepare detailed incident reports and stay current with asset protection policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions
• Time management: prioritizing, organizing, meeting deadlines
• Willing to be trained in First Aid and AED operation
• Basic Microsoft Word skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Willing to work a flexible schedule
• Experience writing correspondence and reports

Responsibilities

• Monitor foot and vehicle traffic to protect assets and enforce security procedures.
• Identify loss exposure and safety risks to minimize profit loss and protect staff.
• Operate asset protection systems and facility devices to safeguard assets.
• Respond as a first responder to incidents and provide basic first aid when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of facility operations and asset protection policies.
• Conduct audits and report discrepancies in inventory, safety, and security.
• Prepare comprehensive incident reports on profit loss and safety matters.
• Support investigations into causes of losses and policy violations.
• Maintain professional communications and stay updated on industry developments.
