Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Asset Protection Solution Officer to safeguard a climate-controlled distribution center and personnel. You will monitor foot/vehicle traffic, identify loss exposure, operate security systems, and respond as a first responder in emergencies.

The role emphasizes integrity, reporting, and collaboration with Asset Protection leadership. The position covers early morning hours on Saturdays through Wednesdays, with a focus on risk reduction, safety, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience identifying operational issues and suggesting solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines.
• Willing to be trained in First Aid and AED operation.
• Basic MS Word skills for documents and reports.
• Basic MS Excel skills for formatting and data handling.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience writing correspondence and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitors entry/exit traffic to protect assets and ensures security procedures are followed.
• Identifies and reports loss exposure and safety risks to minimize profit loss.
• Operates asset protection systems and facility security devices.
• Responds to emergencies as a first responder and may assist with AED use.
• Prepares incident reports and audits safety and security measures.
• Maintains knowledge of facility operations and Asset Protection policies.
• Conducts security audits and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
• Supports investigations as directed to prevent losses.
• Keeps communication channels open to meet asset protection goals.
