Job summary

Marksman Security in Bedford Heights, OH is seeking a licensed armed security officer to patrol a food distribution warehouse. The role requires an OH OPOTA armed license, a valid OH driver’s license, and CPR-AED, with a 2pm-10pm Friday through Monday shift.

Expect temperature checks, CCTV checks, and gatehouse duties to protect personnel and inventory. The position offers competitive pay at $22.00 per hour, benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Valid Armed OPOTA certification required.
• Valid OH Driver’s License required.
• CPR-AED certification required.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Minimum of one year armed security experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Physical ability to perform required movements.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Verify credentials of incoming individuals and vehicles.
• Manage guest/visitor access and remove trespassers when needed.
• Other duties as determined by operations.
