Job summary

Eagles Point Security in Norwalk, CA is seeking a part-time armed security officer to join our team. The role requires maintaining a visible armed presence, patrolling the property, and controlling access to deter threats.

You will document incidents, report suspicious activity, and cooperate with management to enforce rules and emergency procedures. Eligible candidates must hold a BSIS Guard Card and a BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and own a duty weapon.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required).
• Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required).
• Must own your duty weapon.

Responsibilities

• Deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety with a strong-armed presence.
• Conduct continuous foot patrols and maintain high visibility across the property.
• Perform access control and ensure only approved individuals are allowed entry.
• Document checkpoint activity using scanning equipment as required.
• Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons, behavior, or hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and property management.
• Submit clear, detailed incident and activity reports.
• Support emergency protocols and enforce property rules and regulations.
• Report broken equipment or potential safety or security issues promptly.
• Must be comfortable working alone.

• Maintain a strong-armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety

• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience (Preferred)
