Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Security Architect to lead the design and assurance of secure systems across internal and customer-facing solutions. You will model threats, assess risks, and produce governance-ready security documentation.

The role is hands-on, design-led, and sits within a collaborative architecture practice. It offers remote or hybrid working in line with policy, with opportunities to influence secured delivery in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Practical experience designing and assuring secure systems.
• Strong understanding of security principles and non-functional requirements.
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders across engineering and governance.

Responsibilities

• Produce security architecture designs for internal systems and customer solutions.
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments for applications and platforms.
• Create security assurance documentation for governance and accreditation.
• Collaborate with Technical and Enterprise Architects to ensure secure by default designs.
• Advise on remediation after assessing emerging threats and CVEs.
• Support delivery teams with security guidance and hands-on input.
• Present designs and risk positions to the Technical Assurance Board.
