Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Security Architect to shape and advance security architecture for our cutting-edge SoCs and GPUs across automotive, gaming, and server platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements, support certifications, and mentor hardware, firmware, and software engineers.

You will also help build AI-enabled tools for threat modeling, design review, and evidence tracking, while safeguarding confidentiality and engineering rigor

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundation in computer architecture, digital logic, operating systems, embedded systems, or computer security.
• Coursework, internship, research, project, or equivalent experience in security, computer architecture, hardware design, or cryptography.
• Programming and debugging in C, C++, Python, Verilog, SystemVerilog, ARM/RISC-V assembly, or scripting languages.
• Analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills for cross-team work.
• Curiosity and interest in learning security architecture for sophisticated SoCs and GPUs.
• Interest in AI tools and automation to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support security certification and compliance efforts for NVIDIA chips and platforms, including standards like FIPS 140-3 and ISO 21434.
• Assist with certification documentation, evidence collection, and coordination with labs, auditors, and partners.
• Translate security requirements into practical engineering mentorship for hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Review architecture and firewall specifications to assess IPs against platform security requirements.
• Contribute to threat modeling by identifying trust boundaries and attack surfaces.
• Help build security architecture docs, checklists, and certification materials.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to evaluate platform security requirements.
• Build and improve AI-enhanced tools and workflows for security review and analysis.
• Explore AI and automation to improve productivity while protecting confidential designs.
