GE HealthCare in Wisconsin is seeking an SCM Coordinator to support the Global Security Operations program, performing specialized operational duties and administering security systems. You will coordinate user access, help with training, and assist in procurement and audits.
The role supports Regional Security Directors and Site Security Leaders, helping develop security policies and procedures, and coordinating onboarding for security personnel.
Responsible for Physical security and Security and Crisis Management (SCM) program for the protection of assets and employees Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
The responsibilities of the SCM Coordinator include: Perform specialized operational and administrative duties required to support the security program. Serve as the central manager/administrator of a variety of security systems tools. Activities include administering user access, coordinating user training, assisting with purchase of software/hardware, and tracking of user licenses. Act as the GSCM’s central point for purchasing to coordinate recurring payments and develop and submit purchase orders, as needed. Assist team members with purchasing and other security activities. Assist, as needed, with physical security audits and assist in the report generation of site assessments. Support Regional Security Directors (RSDs) and Site Security Leaders (SSLs). Provide physical security guidance and training as requested by RSDs and SSLs. Provide oversight and assist in the creation and development of GEHC security policies, guidelines, best practices and procedures and common security arrangements. Provide recommendations for improvements to physical security, administrative, and crisis management systems/tools. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of security personnel, to include RSDs and SSLs to ensure appropriate level of security specific training, based upon their role. Keep abreast of relevant security industry standards and provide system and tools assessment for feasibility within the GSO. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Global Security Operations.
