Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or security support.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk SIEM for security monitoring and investigation.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, VPN connectivity, and IT systems.
• Familiarity with EDR/XDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Cisco AMP, Trellix) and network security technologies (firewalls, web filtering, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Understanding of security policies, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with financial institution regulations (e.g., NCUA, GLBA) is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily security alerts and logs, escalate incidents as needed.
• Utilize Splunk SIEM for monitoring, analysis, reporting, and investigation.
• Manage security-related service requests and provide user support.
• Conduct routine security device, configuration, and access reviews.
• Track vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Assist with incident documentation, audits, and risk assessments.
• Update and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Support endpoint security tools and contribute to process improvements.
