Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Security Analyst to join its IT team in Sterling, VA. You will monitor threats, review alerts, assess incidents, and coordinate with IT leadership to implement effective responses. The role requires scripting ability, SIEM proficiency, and hands-on network security tasks across production environments.

You’ll perform vulnerability scans, analyze logs, and contribute to documentation while interacting with internal customers and vendors. Travel up to 5-10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible information security experience.
  • Knowledgeable about threat landscape, vulnerabilities and attack methods.
  • Experience with security incident responses and log analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security threats and risks for client infrastructure.
  • Perform vulnerability and security scans on production components.
  • Use SIEM tools (Splunk/Chronicle) for monitoring and threat response.
  • Coordinate incident responses and ticketing with IT leadership.
