Qualifications

• Experience evaluating, responding to, and mitigating alerts from SIEM and security products.
• Knowledge of SIEM and EDR technologies and their integration.
• Ability to tune SIEM events to reduce false positives.
• Extract IOCs and behavioral characteristics to implement mitigations.
• Ability to scope events for proper remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical evaluation and analysis to improve the organization’s security posture.
• Applies security concepts, reviews information, executes defined tasks, analyzes requirements, reviews logs, and creates documentation.
• Advises on complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators and network operations.
• Conducts security assessments and recommends corrective actions for data security.
