Job summary

Lansing Community College seeks a FT Admin - Information Security Analyst to safeguard the college’s information systems and monitor security posture across all campus technology. The role collaborates with ITS and college staff to enhance business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field with significant information security experience, and may pursue CISSP/CISM/GIAC/CISA certifications; on‑campus presence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Significant information security or related work experience.

Responsibilities

Administration and monitoring of the College’s information security infrastructure.
Assist with planning for business continuity and disaster recovery.
Monitor, investigate and respond to information security events for all college technology devices.
Evaluate risks to the college from IT projects and lead security architecture improvements.
Develop security awareness messages and communicate them to the college community; liaison to ITS and other personnel.
