Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: No experience required if holding preferred degrees/licenses; otherwise, 1 year in Information Security services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT security incident response for UT Knoxville.
• Deploy and manage technical security solutions (systems, networks, SaaS, PaaS, databases).
• Engage with UT Knoxville personnel on security guidance and problem resolution.
• Monitor and administer security toolset: EDR/XDR, SIEM.
• Support vulnerability management and security program improvements.
• Automate security functions (Powershell, Python, KQL).
• Process service requests for systems, networks, databases.
