TEKsystems in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional for a contract role focused on incident response, monitoring, and leadership-ready reporting. You will work across SIEM, EDR, and NDR tooling to analyze events and support high-priority security incidents.

The position requires seven years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of NIST/CIS HIPAA, and the ability to document investigations for leadership.

Qualificações

• Minimum of seven years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a closely related information security role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, including incident management, analytics rules, workbooks, automation, data connectors, and Kusto Query Language.
• Experience with SIEM for log analysis, alert investigation, dashboarding, correlation searches, and security monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in incident response, escalation, and after-action review activities.
• Support enterprise security monitoring for systems that process, store, or transmit sensitive information.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, investigation notes, metrics, and leadership-ready summaries.
