Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a full-time Mid-Level Security Analyst to join our team supporting the Department of War. This on-site role at the Mark Center (and other National Capital Region sites) involves security policy interpretation, high-volume requests, reporting, and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of security analysis experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and security databases.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting Federal and DoW security policy and maintaining records.
• Three years of relevant security analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Government program leads to plan, track, and document security projects and deliverables supporting agency goals.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and metrics for government stakeholders and executives.
• Analyze DoW security policies and internal procedures for compliance and improvements.
• Research security issues through policy reviews and data queries; prepare recommendations and documentation.
• Support a high-volume customer service environment handling ~1,400 security requests per month; track requests to completion.
• Maintain security data in DISS, access-control systems, rosters, and SCI records.
• Assist with security-inquiries, coordinating interviews and actions from initiation to closure.
• Prepare country-specific risk assessments and foreign travel briefings for overseas travelers.
• Support security programs including OPS and CUI with meetings, trainings, and governance docs.
