About This Role:
The Security Analyst is part of the Security Operations team and reports to our Director of Security Operations. As Security Analyst you will be responsible for detecting, investigating, and responding to threats across our core infrastructure and technology environments to protect user assets, ensure compliance, and strengthen the overall security posture. You will also partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure security is embedded across the product lifecycle, business processes, and technical operations, enabling the company to scale safely and responsibly.
Core Responsibilities:
Monitor logs, alerts, and telemetry to detect abnormal behavior and potential threats across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
Perform in-depth security analysis and investigations to assess risk, determine impact, and identify root causes of security events.
Coordinate and execute incident response efforts, including containment, mitigation, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
Own and drive the vulnerability management program by identifying, prioritizing, and tracking remediation of security vulnerabilities across systems and teams.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of investigations, incidents, procedures, and findings to support transparency and operational excellence.
Contribute to company-wide security awareness by developing and delivering training, guidance, and best practices to stakeholders across the organization.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong understanding of modern threat landscapes and defensive strategies.
Hands -on experience with IT security tools and services, such as SIEM, EDR, Cloud Posture Management (CSPM), Firewalls, and Vulnerability Management tools.
Relevant technical certifications based on the areas listed above
Experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry is a strong plus.
Experience with offensive security practices such as penetration testing, red teaming, or adversary simulation is a plus.
Demonstrated autonomy and accountability, with a proven ability to drive problem-solving and navigate complex technical challenges independently.
Salary:
The starting pay range for this role is between USD$95,000 - USD$110,000 for all U.S.remote locations. The actual base pay will vary, and is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skill sets, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change.
