Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Security Incident Response professional to triage, investigate, and contain security incidents across global IT systems. You will collaborate with the Security Operations team, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive recovery efforts to minimize impact.

The role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security standards like NIST and ISO-27001, and hands-on experience with security tools such as SentinelOne and Defender across Windows, Mac, and Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies including hardware, software, networking, and cloud services.
• Experience with ITMS workflows while delivering high customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated expertise in how platforms and technologies integrate to create comprehensive solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and understand business needs.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and apply security standards and frameworks such as NIST, 800-53, CIS, SOX, and ISO-27001.
• Experience with security technologies including SentinelOne, Abnormal Security, Microsoft Defender, Rapid7 IVM, ServiceNow, Google SecOps, and Purview.
• Experience with the Microsoft Security suite including Defender and Purview applications.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Triage service requests from internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure responsive incident resolution.
• Respond to security alerts and incidents in global IT systems.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents and anomalies to determine scope, impact, and root causes.
• Collaborate with Security Operations to assess incident urgency.
• Perform containment, eradication, and recovery to minimize impact.
• Document actions taken during incident response for analysis and improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during incident response to keep them informed and involved.
• Stay updated with industry trends to strengthen defense of the organization.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux)
• Experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and software solutions.
