Cobbs Creek Golf Club in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a part-time Security Ambassador to help ensure the safety of guests, staff, and facilities. The role provides a visible security presence, monitors access, and supports security operations across the campus.

Weekend shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 11 PM to 7 AM, with compensation of $20 per hour. The ideal candidate has customer-service experience, remains calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and approachable in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of basic security procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Must have a reliable and punctual work ethic.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access to the campus facilities.
• Conduct routine security patrols and inspections and report concerns.
• Monitor security and fire systems (alarms, access control, etc.).
• Assist with crowd management and access control during events and peak hours.
• Respond to security incidents and document situations as needed.
• Support emergency procedures, including evacuations and first aid when required.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate concerns to the Security Manager.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, vendors, and staff to ensure safety.
• Uphold hospitality-focused security practices.

Description

The Cobbs Creek Golf and Educational Campus is seeking a part time Security Ambassador to help ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and facilities. This role will provide a visible security presence, monitor access to campus buildings, and assist with general security operations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle security concerns professionally and efficiently. This role will have weekend shifts on Saturday & Sunday from 11PM-7AM. Compensation: $20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access to the TGR Learning Lab, Clubhouse, Restaurant, Driving Range facility and maintenance areas.
• Conduct routine security patrols and inspections of the campus to identify and report any security concerns.
• Monitor on-campus security and fire systems (alarms, access control, etc.).
• Assist with crowd management and access control during events and peak operational hours.
• Respond to security incidents and report/document situations as needed.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid assistance when required.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate security concerns to the Security Manager.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, vendors, and staff to ensure a safe environment.
