Job summary

Six Flags White Water is seeking a Security Officer for the summer season. You will patrol the front gate, operate metal detectors, and screen bags and badges to protect people and property.

This role offers daily pay, access to park events, and opportunities for advancement through certification. Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong attention to detail, a calm demeanor in emergencies, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guard guests at front gate and screen with metal detectors.
• Protect employees, guests, and park property.
• Enforce park policies and procedures.
• Greet and screen entrants; check bags for prohibited items.
• Prepare detailed incident and damage reports and logs.
• Escort guests and team members as needed for safety.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests providing directions and assistance
• Protect employees, guests, and company property
• Enforce park policies
• Greet and screen entering through metal detection and check their bags for prohibited items
• Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security records
• Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection

Pay Rate: $10.50/hr.

• Must be 18 years old
• Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads
• Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to earn Security Officer certification and upon passing the certification course & test - earn a higher pay rate
