Job Details

Location: Dyess Air Force Base, TX. May support other nearby bases. Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday. Pay: $28.00 - $38.00/hr, negotiable based on experience. Benefits start day one, including paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and local travel (10-20%).

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, and troubleshoot Electronic Security Systems (ESS), primarily Vindicator and Advantor systems.
  • Install security devices and infrastructure following codes and guidelines.
  • Assist in security system programming and testing post-installation.
  • Coordinate with emergency services and handle necessary notifications.
  • Provide end-user training and ensure safety during operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience with installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of security systems, including intrusion, access control, CCTV, and digital recording.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; DOD Secret clearance (active within last 2 years).
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency with Vindicator or Advantor systems, fiber optics, networks, and camera systems.
  • Vindicator certification is a plus.
