GardaWorld Security Services in Kansas City, MO seeks a Surveillance Security Officer for a full-time, 3rd shift (11:15 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.). You’ll monitor cameras, document incidents, and help keep people and property safe with sharp attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a current/valid driver’s license
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and concentration
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
