GardaWorld Security Services in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond to threats across facilities such as security operations centers and parking gates.

We offer full-time roles with multiple shifts: Shift 1 Fri–Mon 3p.m.–11p.m.; Shift 2 Tue 3p.m.–11p.m. and Wed–Fri 11p.m.–7a.m., $17/hour, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and uniform provided. Background check required.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Set schedule: We have multiple shifts available
  • Shift 1: Full-Time, Friday through Monday, 2nd Shift, 3p.m. to 11p.m.
  • Shift 2: Full-Time, Tuesday, 2nd Shift, 3p.m. to 11p.m. and Wednesday through Friday, 3rd Shift, 11p.m. to 7a.m.

Responsibilities Of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
• You have a state license if required
