SourceWhale Ltd. is seeking a Security Advisor II for a fully remote US-based role.

You will guide clients through ISO 27001, SOC 2, and privacy frameworks, transforming complex security challenges into strategic business value, while delivering tailored risk-management engagements. You will partner with sales, product, and services teams to design security solutions, lead technical demonstrations, and drive successful service delivery across diverse client portfolios.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of compliance-related cybersecurity consulting experience.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Knowledge of public cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in pre-sales security consulting and product demonstrations.
• Experience creating and delivering training with support documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or equivalent.

• Deliver product demonstrations and lead risk discussions with stakeholders.

• Required Technical Skills:

What You Will Do

• Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through ISO 27001, SOC 2, and privacy framework journeys.
• Deliver story-driven product demonstrations and lead technical risk discussions with prospects and executive stakeholders.
• Scope tailored project plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Partner with Sales on technical pre-sales engagements, translating complex features into direct business benefits.

What You Bring

• 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or pre-sales security engineering.
• Practical expertise with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and cloud security concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven capability to present complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical business leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to obtain AWS Cloud Practitioner certification within 3 months of hire.
