Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Corporate Program Portfolio Manager to lead defense portfolio access for industry partners. You will enforce security protocols, manage access requests, and ensure compliance with DoD regulations while maintaining classification guides.

In this role, you will brief senior government and military leadership, mentor staff, and drive risk mitigation across the portfolio. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with a strong emphasis on secure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project/program management in a classified environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience briefing executives and senior government/military leaders.
• Experience handling classified material and using GSA storage containers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee defense corporate portfolios and ensure secure access for industry partners.
• Establish security protocols and access controls for program portfolios.
• Manage processes authorizing contractor personnel access to programs, facilities, and information.
• Maintain Security Classification Guides across the portfolio.
• Present program status, risk assessments, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Mentor program management staff to enhance expertise across the team.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews of access logs and security procedures.
• Coordinate with government agencies and contractors regarding portfolio security.
