Job summary

Genesis AI is seeking a proactive security leader to design, build, and scale security infrastructure across systems, networks, endpoints, and products. You will own security architecture and drive detection, monitoring, and incident response across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will establish security controls, partner with engineering to embed security in the SDLC, and lead vulnerability/risk programs while mentoring a hands-on security team. Interim ownership of IT infra may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and infrastructure skills in Python, Go, or similar.
• Experience building and operating security infrastructure in fast-moving environments.
• Deep understanding of endpoint, network, application, product, and data security.
• Experience designing detection and response systems.
• Knowledge of security controls, risk management, and vulnerability management best practices.
• Experience integrating security into engineering and infrastructure workflows across the SDLC.
• Hands-on experience operating production infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Ability to operate independently and build systems from zero to scale.
• Experience leading or mentoring security teams while remaining hands-on.
• Bonus: Experience securing AI systems, robotics platforms, or large-scale distributed infrastructure.
